SEDRO-WOOLLEY, WA – After an unexpected poor performance last week in a 27-14 loss to Archbishop Murphy, the Sedro-Woolley Cubs will open the playoffs tonight, hosting Cedarcrest at Green Memorial Field, and we invite you to listen to our live worldwide webcast of their game here at “THE HOME of the Sedro-Woolley Cubs” – Sedro-WoolleyCubs.com.
Sedro-Woolley had put together three straight outstanding efforts in defeating Burlington-Edison 40-3, Blaine 42-2, and a 14-7 victory at Lynden, one of the toughest places in the state for any opponent to win, but the Cubs couldn’t make it four straight last week, which would have given them a first round bye tonight.
